In my quest to figure out my engine poking out of the hood situation, a guy posted this pic of a V8 bug he saw at the track. He said it was running flat 10s. Looks cool too. Notice the caddy fins. ;D  |

Thanks for posting that Matt! I think thats the first V8 convertible bug I've seen. Its nothing like front engine 350 powered 69 convertible, but its nice to see another V8 powered convertible bug  |

No problem. I figured you would like that. It's an interesting build to say the least. You don't see to many rear engined V8 bugs. I'm surprised they don't have any kind of firewall. Kinda scary even if it's just a belt that breaks. Imagine getting whipped with a belt using 300 hp. Ouch!

Yeah I was thinking it needed a firewall or some kind of engine enclosure............ My wife said she'd be afraid to drive it because she might get here hair sucked into the belt................. LOL
