Thank You , the first set up was too high in the rear from the first pic to the last 2 i lowered the rear about 2 to 3 inches. And the total height is not even believable !!! I am 6' tall and i will get a pic of me standing next to it it is rediculous. Maybe with it so slow it will be more aerodynamic and faster ??

The car is done, every freaking car i do i come across a stupid unfixable problem so i think i am done with cars period. The Spit is getting scrapped !!! I cant get a seat in the car. If i sit in the seat in the car my head is above the roof and if i slant the seat it would be behind the main roll cage hoop and that is a no go. And if i slide the seat forward where my head is in front of the hoop my knees are touching the firewall P.S. AND yes that is with I disagree sitting directly on the frame of the car.

That's one of the problems with working with small cars. Not a lot of room. My seat is almost on the floor and there's not a lot of leg room. It's like driving a go car with a V8 and bug body. I'm 6'1", so I know what you mean.
What about raising the body in relation to the frame? Looks like you could place the firewall where you please. I'm sure you could resolve this problem. Take a break from it, cool down, and give it some thought.

Hang in there man! V8 said one option...idk what your ground clearance is but what about a recessed floor pan? Maybe both may have to be done to achieve your goal. Sitting directly on a tube chassis is alot different of a ride compared to a 2x3 chassis! What seat are you using? That might be another option? Exhaust might be of concern depending on what you do as well? Hope this helps..

I guess you cant kill the inedible !
you sat directly on the frame rail with your right butt cheek, I tried the recess idea not possible. i was set up for a kirkey which is on the floor directly and the exhaust was never going under the car anyways. lol

Nope all i got left is the tube chassis and the rear end. NO body parts it had to be cut off the frame.
I am gonna find something that is longer and has more head room !!!

AND yes i agree it looks sweet but i dont have any midgets living in my household that could have driven it. P.S. Oh yeah with me sitting in it my knees were touching the TOP of the dashboard with my feet pressed against the firewall this car just flat was not made for tall people. Them British peeps must be short and small.

I know what you mean. I have to use my heel on my throttle pedal cause they're so close. When I drive it, it looks like I'm doing a cannon ball move. ;D
