Dont know what kind of bug to build, super or standard. The engine i would like to use is a 6.0l vette engine, but might end up whwith a 6.0l truck engine. They are just cheaper. As far as the frame goes if a s10 works ill mod that.

hey i used the s10 chassis, its easy, the long bed 119" wheel base, i took 24" out and for anyone that has ever looked at a bare s10 chassis knows there is a large bulge just under where the cab sits, that bulge is just about 24" long and the frame realy fits together quite nicely. but if u can afford it, and or have the know how and tooling, tube is the way to go.

Thanks for the update. Good to see one more guy out there with Semiphores! I hope to have mine functional with a set of conventional turn signals hidden some where like in the headlight housing.

WOW! Looks great! The carpet looks factory. Nice job on the headliner as well. It almost looks like you could make a 2/3 seat in the back.

Thanks Matt, Yeah.....I thought about the seat, but I have no other room in the car for storage, with the engine in the front and the fuel tank and batteries in the back. The trick is to be able to make the storage area work with the rest of the car.
