Well Its been a while since I have been here. I did run the car after the air gap. I also upgraded the wires to the moroso blue ones with the carb spacer. I picked up a little in the 60' (now 1.52) but gained a second gear stumble. Not sure what it is but it only happenes when I am read to shift into third. Motor is at 6800 rpm. I am wondering if I could be starving the motor (750 speed demon with 85 jets all around I think) The winter project has been put on hold as my Magnum RT lease was up and I needed to get another car. I plan to just drive the car for this year and ma be hit a show or two.
To answer v8superbeetles questions cam is a solid roller comp unit custom ground with about .600 lift at the valve and a 4-7 swap. CR is about 10.8 to 1 speed demon 750 mech secondary We dyno'ed the motor on an SAE dyno and it made 500hp at 6300rpm and 463ft lbs at at 4600 rpm. We spun the motor over 7200 but the belt system I had on it let go at that rpm (every time) The rad is a universal fit unit that is the same size as a flex-a-lite #180 fan (replacement for mustang)

Cool. Thanks for the info.
According to a cfm calculator, a 383 ci @ 100% volumetric efficiency, your engine would be pulling 753 cfm @ 6,800 rpm. At 83% it would pull 625 cfm. I'm sure yours will fall somewhere in between. Heck might even be close to 100% from the looks of things.
