Not bad.
Nice launch from that Newbie but the wheelbase on it just looks too short for the arches.

Not bad. Nice launch from that Newbie but the wheelbase on it just looks too short for the arches. Kinda looks like the tires wouldn't fit so they moved the whole body forward. Nice launches though! What's your bug running in the quarter these days V8Bug?

Kenny's bug is actually an old Chev Monza. I believe he has had the thing since the 70's or early 80's. He won a few track championships when it was a Monza. They did some major work over 1 winter to get the car to fit the Bug body. It doesn't fit exactly but it sure does work. You can youtube the Byron wheelie contest and see a video of the car in action. Also do a youtube search of his name. My bug ran a 10.83 at 127mph. I changed the intake to a dual plane and gained 0.1 sec in the 60'. A little bit more tuning and i think i can get a 10.50 out of it on motor.
