Does anyone know what their cars weigh with v8 in it.I was just wandering how much mine would weigh (ballpark).I dont care if s10 frame 0r aftermarket ,just been thinking of hp to weight

ive thrown it arround in my head and made an educated guess of arround 18,000 lbs but not positive lol

lol, once done I'm guessing mine will weigh some where in the neighborhood of 2,650 - 2,800 minus driver. Give or take.

According to an 1/4 et calculator my bug should run:
2800 lbs @ 400 hp = 11.74 seconds.
If lighter, say 2650 lbs @ 400 hp = 11.53 seconds.
I'd be happy if the car hits 11.99. ;D

Who knows, with a 3 speed (th350) and 4.10 gears it might be even faster.

What are you looking for out of yours;street,race or happy medium. My plans for mine is fast street machine,but with speed and racing you always want alittle bit more.ha That is one reason I talked myself into the frame I went with,I didnt want to worry about changes down the road and have to redo things,everyone hates that.

ya i used to work for dodge as a mechanic and it was horrible, wiring is bad, oh well there r five different harnesses and 3 computers, could b anything and then replacing them one by one till it fixes it, ya it sucks, but say u hav a carburated 350 sb chevy 3 wires run the d**n engine haha simple fix
