8-)I am new to this site. I am building a 1969 Squareback on a Glass Station chassis. Power will be a 350i/330hp Chevy smallblock, 700R4 trannie with all the goodies and a 9" Ford rear end. Anybody out there ever built one like this?

Cool man! Why don't you start a thread in the Member's Rides section?

Don't want to sound like a know it all but murphy have you ever thought of using an 8.8 ford rear end, they are a dime a dozen can be built up to hold just like a 9" except they are way way easier to find unless you unload your bank account to get a brand new 9"...a 9" ford now a days is for bragging only, you can get the same reliability and power handling and ring sizes out of an 8.8 at a fraction of the cost

all you gotta do is look under a few old full size trucks at the yards to find a good 9. then all you have in it is the cost of narrowing it down and the new hardware.
its not about bragging. its peace of mind. build it once right, and never look back. not to say the 8.8 wont hold.

I already have the 9" Ford rear end and I work at a Chevy dealer and have access and discounts to many, many parts. Tom
