I wish I could take spring break from most everything that keeps me busy in life so I could work on the bug. Sucks growing up, kinda, OK, sucks having responsibilities, LOL!
Time to bring her home so you can work on it?

ya the only problem is this is my last year, im a senior and i dont have the tools to build the bug at home. but ive been well enough to go to school and work on the bug, thank you vikaden lol its the only thing that allows me to move my knee without pain. but i got the engine and trans back into the bug so that i can mock up the floor boards.

Well it looks good! I'm sure you'll figure out how to finish it. A lot of tools have become quite inexpensive these days.

does anyone have any suggestions for rear suspention? I'm using leaf springs from an Isuzu Amigo. They're about 44", I reversed them around so the shorter length is towards the rear and so they'll fit under the body. The longest length from eye to center bolt measured very close to the same as the stock leafs. That and they're made for a lighter load which will give you a smoother ride. Didn't you purchase a four-link kit? Why not go with that and get some of the bug coil overs? I sure you could call and get the spring rate. I'm guessing that they would suit your needs and run $60. These are made for the front of a bug. www.jbugs.com/store/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=9571&Category_Code=
