got the solenoids for my keyless entry mounted, it was a tight fit, the solenoid body is 5" long and 2" tall.

Nice project. Are you going with a small block or big block? What leaned you towards the S-10 Chassis?

well i was talking to my grandpa about it and he said he saw one on an s-10 chassis, but with a vw engine in back, dont ask me why they did it but they did lol. so i figured v8 goes into an s-10 with just different engine mounts and all i have to do is shorten the chassis and make mounts on it for the bug body, the radiator is going in the back engine compartment with and electric cooling fan, i figure i will lose less leg room and it will run cooler because it will have about an extra gallon of water just running to and from the back and it will have a small scoop to pull air in on the radiator. it will have disk brakes i believe all around, power stearing, and power booster for brakes. i just have a small block 350 built by a guy at ironworks speed and kustom hot rod shop in bakersfield CA. ill run a two speed power glide transmission, so what do you think?

here is another pic, its the bug body just sitting on the s-10 chassis, we were mocking it up to see where to shorten the frame and what we are going to lose out of the bug body.
