Hey thanks guys! Sometimes I let all these things pile up on me!
I've made a list of things to work on that are just nickle and dime things that should keep me busy for a while. My goal is to scrape together enough extra money to buy my lower control arms. That will set my flange to flange distance for the front end and then I can finish up my rear suspension. (Actually, Ray, if you could get your guy to give me a measurement from the center line of the inner control arm bushing to the center of the ball joint on your lower control arms I can mock it up close enough. )
I'm picking up some steel plate to build the tunnel/structure and the front bulkhead for the upper control arms.

Man have I been busy. Busy on everything but my car but I did carve out some time to mock up the V8 and fit the body back on the chassis. The good news is that all those measurements I made worked out. The rack clears the body work and I am going to start work on the upper control arm mounts now. My good camera broke so I had to one of my kid's camera. Here's the body back on the chassis. Now to start mocking up the upper control arm. I need to trim out some space here for the upper control arm. I want to add the rolled edge in the fender well like the original body work.

Your car is going to be killer when done. That V8 looks nice sitting back there. You should make some plans from your frame and sell them on the net / eBay.

Thanks Matt. I do have the entire frame in AutoCAD. I know it's a long way off but I hope I have the money to put a Hillborn injector setup on it. I'd like to convert one to EFI. If I can't do that I will scrounge parts to put an old Quad webber setup on with the new EFI throttle bodies. Just going for the pure WOW factor.
I was just thinking I might be able to put a spare tire in the stock location......lol

Thanks Ray, I sure miss your updates. I know you and your chassis guy have been busy so when you get a chance let's see some updates. By the way, you have two more fans here at work that love your car.

Looking really good. Are you going to use a stock tank to put in the stock location as well? Same here Ray, post some updates as they come. I check the pro-touring site here and there to see if you have any updates as well.

I have the original oval tank. My plan is to modify the bottom portion of the tank to fit around and obstructions underneath and see if I can increase the capacity a bit.
