Hey outlaw, what kinda weight transfer you gonna do to keep the back from sliding sideways on your launches. 1400 HP is a lot to harness in a car that weighs less than 2k. even with taller tires you're still gonna have traction issues.

A friend of mine's nephew runs Outlaw 10.5 down here in Texas. He is currently building a new car to compete in a new class because the 10.5 class has gotten too expensive to try and keep up. The new class will run an 8.5 inch slick instead of the 10.5". The reason I mention this is that these guys are not doing much different to their engine setups and they are going to get thee cars to launch on an 8.5" tire. It will be interesting to see how they do it. These cars are not very heavy so I would think they would be similar to your setup but with a bit longer wheel base. Here is his last car\truck he ran in 10.5 and its not that much different than a bug.

That is most likely the same truck. Jason Lives near Orange, Tx but sold it to build a new car. The ET is what it was running back then.
