im new to the bug world but not to building. im wanting to build a front engine bug with the unibody of a mustang II . the wheel base is 3/4 of an inch longer than the bug and the track is within 2 inches. what do you think?

.75 isnt bad, if you split the difference between the fender wells you should be golden, im guessing your two inches wide so you could widen the stock fenders or go glass. either way it should be ok

i dont know. about using the unibody chassis. isnt most of the support generated in the outer edges of the pan on the mustang?i think that you would be cutting up most of your integrity in order to make it fit. you will have to do some reinforcing of the tub or it will probly fold up like a taco. just something to think about.
