i think that a ford ranger pick up would work really well too. they got those beam front ends, and are TOUGH little trucks to kill. a ranger frame and a 302ford(mustang engine tranny) under a bug ought be another simple combination. theres a kid here in town with a 302 ranger 4x4 box body.

That would be a cool combo, I agree! 302's have a nice sound to them too! To bad SKAR isn't moving forward with his project, that I know of.

the only problem with the ranger, is if its not set at the stock height or doesnt hav drop spindles, it will wear the inner or outer tread of the tire.

there does tend to be a better after market for s-10 than ranger though. plus it's easier to buy an s-10 with the swap already done than a ranger. i got my s-10 with a 383 (needs a fan and a carb) for $1000 and traded the s-10 i had (could have got MAYBE $500 for it.)

yeah, i getcha. ive been big on chevys for a while, mainly because they dont redesign everything all the time like ford has a habit of doing. im just saying that it ought to fit. i wonder how far off a bronco2 chassis is lengthwise?
