Thanks. Slow but sure. Ya know, at my age I really don't get im a hurry. True, I'd like to have it done, but I want to do it right the first time and not have to do it over. ;D

Here's some pictures of the alternator and bracket. I also have a low mounting bracket as well that I couldn't use because it placed the alt where the steering box would go. I'll have to just indent the hood for the upper alt bracket.

how about moving the alt to the other side with a homemade braket? like so...

It took me three years to build my first one and only 30 minutes to destroy it! I feel like I'm still building the same car, all over again.

The engine looks great Tom! I especially like the breather and valve covers.

:)Thanks Matt. Gotta get cranking the rest of this month as my wife and I are leaving on a month long camping trip in our Hi-Lo. Leaving home on the 8th of April with first stop in Aubrey,Texas for a few days to visit with our son,daughter-in-law and grand daughter. Then it's off to Northern Calofornia via New Mexico, Arizona and finally north of San Francisco. We plan on coming home over the Donner Pass ( providing the isn't any snow up there) then into Idaho, Utah and finally home. Got to get my Tacoma road worthy (oil change and then off we go. Here is a pic of our set up.
