It'll be cool to see the new engine in it's home.

It'll be cool to see the new engine in it's home. Yeah, but a long way to go though. Want to get everything fitted where it permantly belongs and then, disassemble and paint chassis, then reassemble.

When you take on a V8 VW project, you're in for the long haul that's for sure.

8-)Yeah,you're right. My first one went a little faster but I was a little younger. Maybe28 or 29. I just want to make sure that I have to do most of it one time and one time only.

Yeah quit takin so many vacations and get to work! just kidding. Where did you score the vette covers? Covers are from Pace Performance. Vacation was great except for the snow we hit. Had to put the Tacoma in 4WD on Interstate 40 in Williams, Arizona. Work has resumed on the Squareback. Hopefully, picyires will follow next week. Here are some trip pics.

Thanks. Plan is to get into the garage about 6 a.m. tomorrow before the heat gets in full swing. Tomorrow is to be 98 degrees with 110-115 heat index. Across the river from me, at Gateway International Raceway, they are expecting 50,000 plus people this weekend. Big selling item is plastic water bottles that you can spray a stereem of water or mist. Cost: $15.00 but that includes 3 free water fill ups. that's really nice of them.
