Yup, great job. Topless roadsters are cool. But it rains a lot down here! LOL. Keep up the good work. Have you signed up at Volkrods.com?

You can see in the above picture how I have my battery mounted in the top left and how I had to run a remote oil filter. There was no way a filter could go on in the normal place. This was by far the hardest thing about using a 302 on a s-10 frame. Pain in the butt. But working great now. I also got it started up this weekend and ran it for a very short time because I don't have my radiator mounted in the rear yet. Ran great!! Getting excited.

It's a great feeling to get it running for the first time! I'm starting to think using a S10 frame is more work than building a tube frame. Keep the updates coming!

Man, I may have to agree with you. It was a lot of work. Of course, hind sight is 20/20. I was looking at my ford ranger the other day and boy does it look a lot straighter!!! Also because of the lack of room for the radiator, I think another application would have been better. But you live and learn. It is original though.

By the way, don't know if you read the earlier post, but I basically copied most of what you did with yours. But yours will look 100 times better I'm sure. I am a single income family with my wife and 4 kids so funds are very tight!! I guess you can call me a shadetree mechanic. If it works, its on there!!!

Cool! Well, I hope I was able to help with my pictures and what not. Mines far from perfect, but it works. My money has been pretty tight, even more so now with the wife staying home and the new baby, but I've managed to make this project happen even after an engagement, new house, wedding and baby. Hang in there and don't give up. These things don't happen overnight.

The mustang radiator is very big, but i believe after some more cutting it will fit.

Also, do any of you know where I can find just one more wheel like these to go on the front? My fourth wheel is bent and will not hold air. They are the cragar sst wheels.

You can tell in this picture how low it is going to be. May be a little too low, but I lowered it when I was planning on the volksrod look.
