Ive never had a problem out of a Electric Holley Fuel Pump. Mine carries 8 pounds of fuel pressure setting there idleing and 8 pounds going down the road, no change, very reliable. Im running a Holley electic Blue pump on mine and I aint had a problem yet and I put a Holley Blue pump on every car I build so if I wouldnt trust it I would tell you. LOL. Good Luck with your build.

No Hoosiers yet. LOL its got 29x18.50x15 Mickey Thompson Sportsman Pros on it right now, it dont hook and go as straight as I want it to so I might be investing in a set of Mickey Thompson ET Streets or a set of Hoosier Quick Times or something. As far as the battery, its not to hard to get to, 4 screws and the covers comes off the battery and just lift it up and take it out. But thanks for the compliments. TTYL its hard to tell from the pictures what kind of rear suspension you have, but if its a 4 link(hard to tell from the angles of the shots) you can adjust it so it will leave straight, and you can also adjust how hard it hooks off the line. i seen your bug before on the net. i like it....... alot.

My vw has 3 link ladder bar suspension. Its a double adjustable suspension I just havent really messed with the suspension to get it right, the car dont twist up out of the whole, it just squirelly out the hole, Ill play with the suspension alittle. I let about 1 1/2 pounds of air out the tire and it seemed to help alot but still breaking the tires loose alittle, Ill get it fixed.

Yeah plenty of offers so far and plenty more to come, prob gonna be alot of them tonight, taking my vw to the local car show in Hagerstown Marlyland where there is usually a turnout of over 400 cars on a good night, so it will be interesting to see what reactions my VW gets since this will be the frist time it has been to this show. Badnblown, Tell me if i'm being a bit cheeky but was wondering if you'd be able to help me with some measurements ? Not sure if you'll be able to or not now the bodywork is all on or whether you took any notes when you made the frame. I like the rear section on yours and don't think the one on my frame is tall enough to take the tyre size i'm gonna be using and still have a decent ride height. Basically I was wondering if you had (or could get) the following measurements & angles for the bits that made up the rear of your frame ? If you could get the blue and orange ones that'd be great, if not then I might be able to work it out from just the orange ones. Alternatively, if it's a trade secret then I understand ;D Thanks, Si

Cheers dude. I'm building mine off the prostreetbug plans. Keep changing things as I go to get the end result i'm after. Unfortunately, things aren't as easy to get hold of over here. Was looking at one of the Jegs rear end kits. Think it came to around $950 with 4 link & shocks, rod ends, rails etc. Checked out a quote for shipping to the UK and that was $1700 ish on it's own So it looks like I'll be making my own ;D

Thats cool man, When I started building my VW I didnt know of anyone that made plans to build a v8 vw. So we started from scratch and made our own. My frame rails are custom by us, not ordered from anywhere so they will have to be custom made. Im running a 3 link, with double adjustable ladder bars, and adjustable springs with shocks, I would have used coilovers but they ride alot rougher then the spring/shock package. If I was building a all out race car, I would have went with 4 link, and coilovers but I drive mine everwhere now so, comfortable streetability was the only thing I worried about. Ill get them measurements to you ASAP. TTYL
